Build Times

How Long a Build Takes

The bay session and pickup day usually aren't the same day. Here's what determines the gap between them.

01

Stock Components vs. Special Order

If the head and shaft combination from your session is already on the shelf, a single-club build is typically ready in two to three business days — loft and lie set, length cut, grip installed, and the corrected numbers rechecked against your session card before it leaves the bench. Special-order heads or low-stock shafts add the manufacturer's lead time, quoted at the end of your session once we know exactly what's being ordered.

Full iron sets take longer even with everything in stock, since every head is bent and rechecked individually against the corrected gapping ladder.

Typical Turnaround

  • Single club, stock components — 2–3 days
  • Full iron set, stock components — 5–7 days
  • Special-order head or shaft — plus manufacturer lead time
